Question: Is it normal to experience a tingling sensation on the sides of the neck after rolling the shoulders back? Is this the muscles releasing tension?

The internal dialogue of worrying about things is pretty stressful on your physical body believe it or not. For some reason it causes you to rely on your dominant side more and more. Sometimes when sleeping, daydreaming, or concentrating very intensely on something (anything).Sorry that was so long! Take care

that you never realized existed. One of the many benefits that comes with perfect alignment is alleviation of a lot of your chronic pain issues. Usually things brought on by stress like headaches, soreness (pain in the ass or neck etc..wherever you store your tension). It will probably not cure all of your ailments, but it will surprise you how much of your daily pain is curable. Less pain means less internal dialog thinking about the physical pain or the emotional pain stressing you.

@for777Him yes to confidence and a most definite yes to thinking clearer. She said it relieves stress on your body because it basically teaches you that you are out of alignment and because of that, much of your attention goes to balance and much of your energy is being used on one side of your body (left right and front and back) over the other. Chinese phiosophy in tai chi describes this in terms of Yin and Yang. Aligning yourself frees both energy and clears your subconscious dialog...

a couple questions:1. Should we tighten our abs and glute for the whole day? I've noticed that people tend to care less about posture or about looking good at night.2. Does this strengthen the abs and glute?3. What effect will having good posture have on people? More confident? Think clearer?4. For the shoulders are we supposed to tighten them back? Or just stretch them out like she did whenever we feel like |
